Your employer can match your donations.
If your company offers matching gifts, they'll contribute dollar-for-dollar alongside your donation to Tassajara Hills Foundation. That means if you donate $695, your total impact becomes $1,390 in support for our students.
WHAT IS CORPORATE MATCHING?
It's free to you. Corporate Gift matching is a program where companies match donations made by their employees to non-profit, 501(c)3 organization. Many companies encourage charitable giving and matching may be part of your employee benefits. If you make a donation to the Foundation, your company may match your donation to the Foundation dollar-for-dollar.
WHY IT MATTERS:
Most employers participate in matching. Cisco, Chevron, Wells Fargo, Oracle, Salesforce, Kaiser, and over 100 other companies matched donations for us last year.
Last year, corporate matches accounted for roughly 15% of our total fundraising. If more eligible families submitted matches, we could fund an additional reading specialist position.
WHICH COMPANIES MATCH?
Over 100's of companies match donations to non-profits. Cisco, Chevron, Wells Fargo, General Electric, Ebay, Xerox, IBM, Lam Research, Oracle, PG&E, United Way, BlackRock, Pearson, Financial Times, Visa, Workday, Kaiser, Pepsico, Salesforce, Arch, and Marsh & McLennan are just a few of the companies that matched funds for us last year.
HOW DO I GET MY DONATION MATCHED?
- Make your donation to Tassajara Hills Foundation
- Check if your employer matches (search SRVEF's database at srvef.org/matching-gifts)
- Submit your match request to your HR department using our tax ID: 91-1854965
- Your employer processes the match, typically within 4-6 weeks
- For sponsorship recognition in the School Directory, submit your match by August 31.
