WHAT IS ELAC
The California State English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) was established to advise the State Board of Education on a wide range of issues relating to the improvement of curriculum and instruction for the state’s English learners. It is composed of distinguished educators from throughout the state who are knowledgeable about the educational needs of English learners.
